This is one increadible mod. It turns your whole entire game into the Vietnam conflict. It has a ton of new weapons, skins Flyable Planes, Knifes, and working Flashlights. There are a ton more stuff, so check out the screenshots and download this baby!!

Installion
You can either use the program to set you the files, or you can manually do itif there are any problems here how to do ir manually both
ways are simple though.
put the file *vietnamprogram.exe* in the directory *C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\main*
put the file *MoH-Vietnam.bat* in the directory *C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA*
put the shortcut file *medal of honor vietnam.lnk.* on your desktop (this is just a shortcut of the *moh-vietnam.bat*)
put the folder *gviet* in the directory *C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\main\sound\dialogue\Multiplayer*
double click on the shortcut or the bat file to run vietnam, opening the orignal mohaa shortcut runs the game without
vietnam.

does anyone know how to get it to work i get that runtime error on both moh:va and moh:aa i might just as well reinstall it all and save all my hundreds of .pk3 in another folder then move them back in once i reinstall it |

These are critical errors that should be resolved fast
I would say pull the MOD from DownLoad till these are fixed as not everyone knows how to resolve these errors as I do!!!! |

for mac users please download the "dedicated server" version when that is availabe this version will work with mac computers.

I agree 100%, if your mod is not working properly and is released to the public inwhich it causes major changes and file errors to the point of reinstallation or revertion of a drive...you need to pull the download fix it and repost it. Dont wait till it messes up more.

didnt really like it so i took out all the files n now my german taunts have no sounds plus i get a second weapon for some reason.
nothin even worth ripping from the pk3 except for some sounds.....
8/10 for the idea 3/10 for the wait 2/10 for the final product.......

Posts: 53 | First you the dumb *****, if you had taken the time to read what unclebobthe1 had posted you would had seen that I just used his comments so I could comment on the fact that if this mod is not 100% working it should be taken down and fixed and then reposted.
Second, how can you even compare this mod to Battlefield Vietnam, no way can this mod be close to what BFV has to offer, just look how one can use ANY plane in BFV and go anywhere in the map in any direction and with any speed, maps in BFV are much lager and don't have a "square" bonding box has Elite3D mod and all the planes have landing gear that is functional.
Third, about the install, why go and use a installer for the mod when it does not even work, and worse of all, Elite3D knew it did not work or he would not had given instructions on how to manually install his mod, besides, why use a exe when one can easily extract the contents into a folder and from there create a pk3 file and do away with the stupid bat file that seems to just create more problems than its worth.
So my final thoughts, please fix this mod. Also, please make maps bigger so one can take use of the planes, and what's with the 4 maps with the heli? they so small, one would had been enough!

I can play it perfectly fine, just that the server thats running has some conflicting problems that needs to be sorted out. Be patient people. Yes, online I get ww2 skins to and the knife isnt there. Its gonna get fixed. Thats why theyre making a patch. |

Posts: 48 | Everyone should follow the readme and do what it's telling you. We did that in the readme several times and every time, it worked. So i don't know what you guys problem is. And don't give it a 1/10 just because it has a suck installer. Here are the details AGAIN:
- Extract the file vietnamprogram.exe to your MoHAA/Main directory
- Extract the file moh-vietnam.bat to your MoHAA directory
- Extract the folder gviet to your mohaa/main/sound/dialogue/multiplayer directory
- Now just run the moh-vietnam.bat file.
- Note: Make sure your main is mod empty before installing. Any other conflicting mod is not our responseablity |

Might need to break down the situation instead of trying to blanket solving the problem by saying read the readme again....and as far as their vote of a 1/10, they have every right to vote that, hell people voted a 1/10 for out mod just because of the way the water looked...if the people cannot play your mod to decide for themselves the score, they have every right to give a 1/10.

Posts: 52 | Funny how you all blame the problems with this mod on something else other than the mod, I went to Alternation forum and all the bugs and problems they post there you all blame on either their computer specs, or the server they playing on, or if the fps on the maps are to low you all just say "Oh well, what can we do". You need to fix the problems you all have with this mod and don't make something public if its not ready to be public.
Anyways, it was a great idea but not well implemented, seems also some of the textures were borrowed from Hell In The Pacific (correct me if I'm wrong), maps are to small, all this mod does is incorporate most of other ideas that already been done, so nothing new here, weapons are nice but textures of some of them are to clean, some palm trees trunks are not rounded, maps with the planes are to small, flashlight displays the light towards the player and not away from the player, poor installer, have more to say but will wait and see what the next update fixes.

Posts: 52 | If you want to delete vietnamprogram.exe and you can't because its in use maybe you should try and visit this website http://www.gibinsoft.net/gipoutils/fileutil/index.htm scroll to the bottom of the page and download the free program then use it, on your next boot the exe file will be deleted, just remember to also delete any of the other files that go with the Vietnam mod also. Hope this helps. Let me know!
