TA SITE Design and Maintenance



To install put the pk3 file in the main folder of your Medal of Honor
Game (main) Allied Assault / (mainta) Spearhead / maintt ( Breakthrough)

The mod is currently for Allied Assault and probably some functions will not
work in the expansions.


To be able to hear the sounds install them as they are now in the
following folders of your ( SOUND ) folder of your ( main ) directory.


To uninstall simply delete or remove the pk3 file from your main folder (/main) AA
(/mainta) Spearhead / (/maintt) Breakthrough.

From what I've heard only.. Really nice mod! Unfortunately I can not test it at the moment because Allied Assault won't let me connect to a server (with and without the mod) Still have to find way to fix it.

Edit: I tested the mod with Spearhead (single player only) and it was awesome really. The berlin map is really great (others too) and I think I found a glitch already (or maybe it was because I was at 600 Run speed to visit the map faster lol but I think it would do the same at normal speed) Anyway Good Job to all Team SFX. It's like playing a new game.. 10/10

Yes, they may be, but they are server-side so you cannot use them freely unless you find a server populated enough to play on. Which is very hard to find, thats why Vietnam, MW, and others don't do as well and Chalkpit's do because it is clientside.

Well this is a "Total Conversion" for Mohaa. Wont work with SH and BT.
This mod introduces new Maps, new Weapons, new HUD, new Skins, new Menus and MOST importantely it introduces a new Gametype: "Commander"

So yes it's server side for the maps, skins and gametype.

Sorry Vdog77,

I take all kind of critisicsm and i know we cant please everyone but I think you are bashing a lot of peoples work in this tc for nothing. Just a couple of concepts I want to make clear :

This Total Conversion is for AA as stated in the readme. You can try it in SH or BT but a lot of functions wont probably work.

This Total Conversion is still a beta, however, it has 5 levels available in different gametypes with custom textures, sounds, etc more than 30 player skins, custom sounds, a new interface, new menus, loadscreens, huds, avatars, blood, etc, a brand new gametype which needs a lot of programming knowledge and mapping, models ( vehicle and weapons ) and quite a lot of programming itself. (and still a lot of features to inlcude in the final release)

If you are going to bash a Total Conversion, ( because a TC is more than changing a few stock weapon skins ) based in the textures ot the skins of the 2 weapons we have you dont have a clue of what MOH modding is about. I know there were only 2 weapons models ( because there are more models) Inlcuded in the mod, but some were left outside the current version.

Before destroying a lot of peroples work you should look your own. We think a TC is more than changing a few textures to stock models; and no, maps are not server side...

Hey, i like the maps very good, fg42 is ok, leave the luger out, its a crappy piece of modelling and skinning. but overall, i love this mod. very good.

and since it is the first tc thats pretty good in a while, id say 8/10, im sertainly gonna download it, and cant wait for v1

Well well well.....Enders33 is back. Why are you riding my a**? Can't you forget and not have to give that little poke? Why don't you shut up and leave. I have every right to my own opinon, and you don't need to disagree with it verbaly. AND YES MAPS ARE SERVER SIDE OVER THE INTERNET! You cannot play a map that server does not have online. It's a custom that the server has to run along with the client.Roll Eyes (sarcastic) I wasn't challenging what a TC is either. I know what it is ok! Why did you leave the other models out and choose those two out of all of them? I ams sorry that I may have been judgemental about them but they give me a bad preview of what is to come. I think the weapons are a big part of a TC because you are using them the whole darn time. They are right in front of you, righ there on the screen. I ams orry for being harsh and I apologize. But I think this mod needs a lot of work from the beta.

I just finished checking out the maps and they all look really good. The only thing I don't understand is how total conversion applies to this mod? It doesn't convert any of the original mp maps for MoH or sp gameplay, it's just a few new maps.

Also not included is the weapon sounds/skins, explosions, effects, etc. Will any of that be included in the final release? As for usefullness I would have to give it a lower rating. With it being server side I would have to find a server running the mod, it's not something I can just start and use.

In closing I have to say over all it's really good work, and if there was a dedicated server running it I would definitely check it out. Two Thumbs Up!

A couple of things for post Vdog77 on post 11

We leave some of the models out because they are not ready or for instance, we have an antitank cannon and a takette model that I consider that were not suitable for the Warsaw map at this moment , and that map btw has another 2 custom models (not weapons) Aagain, as I said, everyone is entitled to an Opinioin and I wouldnt even bother If you were posting about my work only, but theres a lot of people spent hours to make the maps, scripts, textures, gametypes, interface, artwork, models, custom sounds, and in my opinion all is really skillful work.

i can understand You dont like the mod in general, but "to think its sucks and give it 1/10 just because of 2 weapons textures" its bashing peoples work for nothing, and theres no constructive cristisicm at all: its so irrelevant and rude as saying that MOH sucks as a game because I dont like the amb sounds of the maps.
Regarding the "weapon skins" that concerns you so much, I tell you that I couldnt care less about making skins for a stock weapon to inlcude in a TC, and Its the last thing I would change; we as a team , dont consider skinning texture weapons as a priority in a game, however this is a beta, and I will pass your opinion to the skinners for the final release.

Thanks, for the final comments however, I dont really understand your comments, but ill try to answer you.

There are several custom sounds in the mod. Amb sounds, weapon sounds, music, songs etc so that means that you have not tested the mod I yet about to see a mod that changed all the sounds. and ive been to a few like 1936 . I will pass your opinion to our sound engeneer and the members though.

Also, since when a TC changes the stock mp or sp maps ?? I dont think you have a clear idea of what a TC is, since then you say a TC is not useful and you took points because of this? Also Thats very subjective, since even with a weapon skin you cant start using it in MOH at least in DMW servers for instance. ..
We also added more than "just maps" to the mod wich IMO is the more important with gameplay in a game. We also included More than 30 player skins, interface etc etc etc I dont want to repeat myself again, sorry

Also, I wont post back to this kinds of posts. This is the only MOH place weve got not real critiscism and simply bash, but it is was expected, as always, in moh.
