Sorry I have a totally biased opinion on this one....

, I like them all, but if I had to choose I'd say Patton.

Patton is the best, rommel is probably second, monty is third, but they could all very well be put at #1 together.

I believe Rommel was good, He fought smart, and wasn't resistant of others suggestions. Not to mention the fact that he treated both his men, AND the enemy with great respect. If it hadn't been for the Valkyrie plot he would have been a decisive leader towards the end of the war and I certainly hope we would've spared him in the war crimes trials.

kids, neither churchill nor yamamoto were generals . one was a prime minister and the other was a commander in chief of his country's navay .

It's a tie right now

well for starters i thought montgomery was a field marshall, not a general? the next is that patton was by far the best general as he inflicted around 55% of all german casualties in 1944-45. Besides, Rommel was on the losing side.

I know he wasn't really a general, he was an Admiral.
